ApoSys equipment uses Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) technology to generate precise, three-dimensional information about objects in a safe, fast and efficient manner.
LIDAR SCANNING TECHNOLOGY FOR NAVIGATION, PROFILING AND SURVEYING

Lighting Detection and Ranging (LiDAR)
LiDAR generates a dense, detail-rich group of elevation points, called a "point cloud". When combined with position and orientation data, each point in the point cloud has three-dimensional spatial coordinates (latitude, longitude, and height). The coordinates are used for positioning, navigation and control and can be earth-based or local-based.
At ApoSys, we are applying LiDAR technology to a host of applications, including autonomous vehicles, underground mining and above-ground surveying in harsh weather conditions. In the past few years, ApoSys has perfected a state-of-the-art laser aligner for the underground drilling-operation process.
